Itinerary

Your trip starts with a choice of one of the following:

Surfing lesson on Kuta Beach or SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) lesson in Jimbaran Bay or Sea Kayak & Catamaran in Sanur or Fishing from a local Balinese fishing boat known as a Jukung or Wakeboarding/Water Skiing at Bali Cable Ski Park. Or Urban Cycle (Kuta-Seminyak)

After you've finished your chosen activity we will head towards your accommodation at Alamdhari Resort in Sideman (approximately 1.5 hour drive).

Sidemen is a quiet, traditional Balinese village surrounded by valleys, rice paddies and rice terraces with Mount Agung dominating the landscape to the north.

Alamdhari resort and Spa is a small boutique resort with a fabulous location, nestled perfectly between the sweeping rice terraces of the Sidemen Valley

Upon arrival at Alamdhari you'll have plenty of time to settle in and then have the option of doing a short hike in the nearby hills to Gembleng Falls, also known as Heavens Gate. With great views over the Sidemen valley we highly recommend it.

More dining delights await you as you head to Asri Dining by Samanvaya Luxury Resort for dinner (included)

09.15 Depart for your Bali Rafting adventure on the Telaga Waja river (Grade 3-4 rapids)

The Telaga Waja river takes you through some of the most stunning scenery in Bali with towering waterfalls, high cliffs and lush river valleys along with exhilarating rapids and some calming flat water sections.

Lunch is included with your rafting.

12.30-13.00 Drive to Villa Jempana. As we come to the top of the caldera outer rim at Kintamani you will be met by a view that you will never forget as you first look out over Mt Batur, Lake Batur, the lava flows, villages within the caledra and towering mountains in the distance, including the mother of all Bali’s mountains, Mt Agung

The drive time is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

14.30 Arrive Villa Jempana Villa Jempana provides the ideal lakeside location with easy access to your activities, large comfortable rooms, swimming pool and restaurant .

16.00-17.30 Get ready for some excitement as you explore the trails and lower slopes of Mt Batur on an ATV/Quad bike. We think this is by far the best location for Quad Biking in Bali.

Dinner: Villa Jempana (included)

Morning: Hike Mt Batur Volcano within the Kintamani Caldera. With good reason, this is the most popular hike in Bali and can easily be done with a moderate level of fitness. If the skies are clear, you will have unforgettable views of the caldera, lava flows from eruptions back in the early 1960’s, Lake Batur & Bali’s biggest mountain, Mt Agung.

Note: Guests can choose to do the early sunrise hike or get up a little later and do the hike around 7.30-8.00.

If the sunrise is not important to you, we like the later hike as most of the other hikers have finished by then or on their way back down the mountain.

If you choose the early hike you can have brunch back at Villa Jempana as part of your package.

If you have breakfast and then hike, you can find somewhere on the way to Munduk for lunch

12.00 Drive to Munduk. We will take the scenic mountain route to north which takes about 2 hours 40 minutes, arriving by about 14.30

15.30 Get to see Munduk Valley up close with Mt Bike riding on the Dayang loop. Starts from Lesong Hotel

Stay at: Lesong Hotel.

Lesong Hotel is tucked away in a quiet village of the Munduk Valley in north central Bali. This area has exquisite views to the west of Bali and is a place few tourists visit. With its comfortable rooms, friendly staff and peaceful ambience we are sure you will appreciate the tranquillity of a night at Lesong

0700: Depart to Canyoning Bali office for our Canyoning adventure

Canyoning Bali are a very professional, experienced and safe operator that has selected the best river valleys in the Gitgit area of north Bali. If you are not clear what Canyoning is, it’s the process of moving through the natural environment of a

Canyon using various methods including walking, rappelling (abseiling) jumping, swimming, scrambling and sliding.

It's great fun, sometimes a challenge and puts you in close contact with your natural environment.

Our hotels are often chosen for their beautiful tropical gardens, open space and beachside location. Taman Sari is another of these resorts with classic Balinese thatched roof accommodation, restaurants and bars, we are sure you will love it.

FAQs

Wherever possible we require a minimum 2 weeks notice to book your chosen activities. We will be in contact with you once you book to ask you about your choices so we can arrange everything for you. If your booking is within 2 weeks then rest assured, we will get things organised.

No, your booking is just for you and whoever else you have booked with. The guide/driver is 100% yours and at your service. Some of your activities will be just you whilst some you will be joining other people who have also booked the same activity that day.

If there are things you would like to change, please contact us before booking and we will personalise an itinerary to suit your personal requirements.

We believe a great holiday is one that is not too over organised and we definitely don't want you to feel like you have to do anything. We will be as accommodating as possible. If you don't want to do something, or want to spend more or less time somewhere, please discuss with your guide. Please remember that our providers will have been paid to deliver your chosen services so no refund will be available. Also please remember people may be waiting for you, so if you decide not to participate in something, please advise your guide as soon as possible so that he/she can contact the appropriate people.

Please see the detailed Terms and Conditions on the booking page

We pick up and drop off from Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua and Sanur. If you are outside these areas, please discuss with us so that we can work out a plan with you.

Please just let us know so that once your Guide/Driver is no longer needed he/she can drive home

Yes you should always have Travel Insurance to cover the activities you are doing on your Active Break

You will be doing a range of activities which will require you to have a few things handy and you will be in different environments that may be hot, cool and/or raining. A few suggestions of things to bring are: a good pair of walking shoes, flip flops (sandals), swimming gear, sunscreen, hat, rain jacket, one long sleeved shirt and/or jacket in case its cool in the mountains, mosquito repellent, waterproof casing for phone/camera

Sometimes an activity provider will be forced to cancel an activity where the conditions are unsuitable/unsafe to proceed with the activity. For example, sometimes when river levels get too high, it becomes unsuitable to go rafting or canyoning If an activity is cancelled, we will do our best to either re-program the activity (wherever possible) or offer an alternative activity but please remember that these situations are outside of our control and part of the risk of planning outdoor activities.
